make the best of what's around

About Me

I can't wait to graduate and get out of south Georgia. I will most likely not move back to Atlanta but we'll see - I do love my friends and family there! I would love to move to the beach - Destin is looking promising - and get into real estate.

My Interests

music, concerts, new bands, the beach, loving old friends and making new ones, driving around with the windows down blasting a great song singing at the top of my lungs and not caring at all what a dork I look like, spending time with my kick-ass family, cats, reading, writing, working out, cheerleading, softball, board sports, fashion, road trips with my kick-ass girlfriends, baseball games in the spring (Go Braves!), moviesGet your own myspace layout at MyspaceGeeks.com!

I'd like to meet:

PAUL WALKER - sexiest man alive. Hopefully he's not a distant cousin because I would not mind having his babies. And Jack Johnson - solid dude, also very hot - I totally appreciate his mindset on life. Cameran Diaz seems like the coolest chick - she has great style and a great sense of humor. I'm sure she's a raging liberal and her taste in men is questionable, but she can laugh at herself and doesn't take life too seriously and I like those qualities in people. I swear I'm not a celebrity worshipper - I've never once owned a subscription to "Us" or "People". These three just seem down to earth, very non-celebrity. They don't like the spotlight and I like that quality in people too.

Music:

90's alternative, DMB, David Grey, Ludacris, Jack Johnson, John Mayer, Norah Jones, OAR, Dispatch, Yellowcard, Breaking Benjamin, Trapt, Linkin Park, The Sundays, Zero 7, Maroon 5, Ben Harper, Dire Straights, The Eagles, Rolling Stones, The Who, U2, Santana, Boston, Van Morrison, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Eric Clapton, Tom Petty, Sting, Etta James, Bill Withers, CHRIS MCCARTY BAND, Anisette, The Loft, Wilson Empire

Movies:

Fifth Element, Constantine, ACE VENTURA, 50 First Dates, Clueless, Deuce Bigalow, Red Dragon, Mona Lisa Smile, Napoleon Dynamite, Anchorman, Zoolander, Old School, Ice Age, Finding Nemo, The Sweetest Thing, Dazed and Confused, Princess Bride, Blue Crush, The Notebook (I know, I know..) Spanglish, Wedding Crashers, Van Wilder, TEAM AMERICA (derka derka....), Office Space, Harold and Kumar, Oceans 11 & 12, anything Monty Python

Television:

I HATE REALITY TV!!! And I truly believe that reality shows, along with MTV and soap operas, kill brain cells - actually just TV in general, although Grey's Anatomy is good. SNL is always classic. I usually just watch comedy central, sports and movies.

Books:

I'll read anything minus romance novels.

Heroes:

My family & anyone serving our country in the military - THANK YOU.

Letters from Lee - from an old email Lee sent

From an email Lee sent out Aug. 2005:   Don't do things "sometimes." Don't love sometimes, don't be nice sometimes, and don't be responsible sometimes. Do things purposefully, with meaning, ...

great lyrics

I really like these lyrics in the song "Gone" by Jack Johnson. I think it describes our society that is so consumed with consuming. Everything is so driven by propaganda and profit and eating mor...

So one of my very best friends Leslie and I had a conversation tonight about these kinds of girls, ie, our roommates, and about why they put up with these guys. And we realized that they're scared. Fo...
