Influences: ..
Influenses: In my iPod: INXS (R.I.P., some awsome tunes, for being mes amis musicale), Midnight Oil (for their performance at Australia Day way back & for their power...my Aussie heart...), Alanis (for saving the 90's & the environment), Pearl Jam (for being pioneers & for Ten), Bob Marley (great), ABBA (great/legendary pop/patriotism, genious songwriters), The Gunners/G n' R (explaination un-necessary, thx Pelle for introduction), Les Gallaghers (for making Definetely Maybe & Morning Glory, also saved my 90's when everything seemed hopeless), early Lenny Kravitz (Mr Cab Driver, Rosemary, Always on the run etc), Green Day (great stuff especially Basket Case, When I come around, When Sept. ends etc, cheers Jannie), Bruce Springsteen (great), Eamon (fuckin great debut album), Les Beat (as John Lennon first thought their band should be called), Joey Tempest solo stuff (Azalea Place's brilliant & very underestimated, I reckon), Mäster C. (Cornelis Wreswijk, great Swedish lyricist & songwriter), early Gyllene Tider & early Roxette & early Europe (brilliant Swedish stuff), Robyn, Sofi Bonde & Eric J (deserve the big break)., Aerosmith, JustD (also pioneers and genious lyrics, Swedish early 90-s light pop/hiphop), Depeche Mode (Some great reward & Black celebration), Velvet Revolver, Paradisio (for her one hit wonder, great track though), Sheryl Crow, Warehouse (friend's band from Halmstad, Sweden, good stuff), Jacko (Thriller etc.), Magnus Uggla, Mary J. Blige, Aaliyah (R.I.P.), Anders Johansson, Anouk (Sacrifice's great), some Andreas Johnson (Glorius's briliant), Jennifer Brown (Vera's a good album), Fastball, Frankie goes to Hollywood, Blur, Bloodhound Gang, Avril Lavigne, Alphaville (Forever Young is a fantastic album), Anouk, A Camp, Barry White, Jimmy Hendrix, Nirvana, Monty Python, South Park, early Noice (like Dolce Vita!), Sophie B. Hawkins, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Soundtrack of our lives (Instant Repeater 99's great and the first half of the album Welcome to the infant freebase too), some Tears for Fears, U2, Nada Surf (Popular's great), some contemporary US collage stuff, Beck, some Robbie Williams, Counting Crows (Mr Jones also saved a fall for me, long time ago), some Van Halen, Babylon Zoo (Spaceman's great!).
My musical teachers/coaches: Mr Bernt Johansson (guitar-teacher at Hallonbergsskolan way WAY back), Mrs Ninni Elliott (pioneer in Swedish vocal-coaching, started back in the 40's, and I had the honour and privilege to be her student for a few years), and last, and most important during the last six years, Ms Sanna Hultén (great vocal coach and great friend).
Sounds Like: None of the above.
