For decades, female basketball players have been anonymous, lacking identity in the clothing industry. Rocking sportswear designed SPECIFICALLY for men became the only way females could wear fashionable, athletic gear….BUT NOT ANYMORE!
VISION…
AQUANAMOUS (a·quan·a·mous) CLOTHING : At 11 years old basketball hoopster and fan, Quana Fields, had a vision that could crack the clothing industry wide open… the creation of a clothing line with similar concepts as And 1, Nike, and Addidas, but for female basketball players and fans. The idea was birth due to years of frustration of having to rock sportswear gear created for men. It was not the style or fit of men's clothes, but the fact that 95% of the t-shirts had pictures of males or sayings that referred to men playing basketball. Nothing Quana or her teammates wore reflected how intense or serious basketball was for girls. Realizing the need and potential growth for a female basketball clothing line, Aquanamous Clothing was created.
MISSION…
The purpose of Aquanamous is to provide female basketball players and fans with clothing that evoke the message that a baller is a baller...gender cannot determine the passion one has for basketball. Aquanamous also provides a comfortable, fresh, urban swagger.GET YO GAME UP!
