With an innovative street swagger and contemplative lyrics, Tha Kid MD is here to reintroduce soul to a new generation. Born in Providence, Rhode Island and raised in the D.C.metro area, Tha Kid has been writing since grade school. A poem written in the sixth grade became his first rhyme, and his first experience connecting to an audience with his own words. Through life altering situations and financial obstacles, Tha Kid has channeled his experiences into writing thousands of rhymes. From rocking ciphers on stoop fronts, to spitting at open mics, to a soon to be released mixtape, Tha Kid MD wants to share his music dreams and bring respect to his area.
