Why I support Ron Paul:
I support Ron Paul because
he opposes the following:
The "Federal" Reserve
- a privately owned corporation that pretends to be a part of the government
and manipulates the value of the dollar to the advantage of the elite and to
the detriment of Americans.
The REAL ID Act - every American
will be forced to carry a national ID card, starting in May of 2008, so that
the government can monitor and regulate us.
The War on Terror - a never ending
war waged against a tactic instead of an actual enemy designed to give the government
the right to abuse the rights of any American.
The Department of Homeland Security -
a massive, wasteful, bureaucratic, Orwellian institution that threatens our
values, our liberties and our Rights under the Constitution.
The War on Drugs - just like prohibition
before it, the War on Drugs creates a violent and unregulated market that cannot
be contained.
The War in Iraq - so expensive
we borrow money from China to fight it and after more than 4 years and more
than 3000 soldiers dead, there is no end in sight.
The Military-Industrial Complex
- the relationship between the Military, the Government, and weapons manufacturers
that is sustained by a vicious circle of war which in turn makes the world less
stable.
The PATRIOT Act - allows the government
to spy on Americans and allows for warrant less searches and detention of anyone,
for indefinite lengths of time, without ever bringing charges.
The WTO, NAFTA, and CAFTA - organizations
threaten our security and our National Sovereignty by placing domestic policy
decisions in the hands of foreign agents.
I also support Ron Paul
because he will accomplish the following:
He WILL bring the troops back
home and change our policing foreign policy.
He WILL abolish the income tax
and free us from the tyranny of the I.R.S.
He WILL get rid of the privately
owned bank system known as the Federal Reserve.
He WILL NOT support unconstitutional
legislation.
Ron Paul has
accomplished the following record during his 10 terms as a Congressman:
NEVER voted to raise taxes.
NEVER voted for an unbalanced
budget.
NEVER voted to raise congressional
pay.
NEVER takes a government-paid
junket.
NEVER votes to increase the power
of the executive branch.
He voted AGAINST the Patriot
Act.
He voted AGAINST regulating the
internet.
He voted AGAINST the Iraq war.
He does NOT participate in the
lucrative congressional pension program.
He RETURNS a portion of his annual
congressional office budget to the U.S. treasury every year.
