Band Members: Moritz Henkel is the name behind the project Shockrocket. He was born in 1979 in the ruhrvalley and is currently studying and living in Bochum.His musical roots comes from the early days of techno in the 90..s. His mother was infectet by this new music and spread the vibe to the hole family. With big success ;) ! Some years later all her kids were involved in different ways in the psychedelic-dance-scene of the ruhrvalley.Mo..s first contact with the psytrance scene was in summer ..97 and this experience changed his life in many ways. Some say, since this days he is on a mission , on his way to explore new ways of kickin-weirdness.Togehter with some friends he formed the legendary lunatic-circus and organized in and out-door underground partys in the ruhrvalley for a couple of years. The time past by, lot..s of party..s were rocked like there..s no tomorrow and mo got the vibe to create something new and decided to start a new chapter in his life so called music-production. After the first steps with a friend (I-dna) he and his brother Janosch starts in 2003 the Shockrocket-project. After a while Janosch quit the project because he wants to focus his life more on his family and his studies.Mo continued his journey and start..s to perform on several party..s in and around Germany and Europe. You could call his music deep-twisted-far-out-sound but definitly it..s strictly psychedelic and definitly no cheese !
