About my life and what I'm looking for...Just ask me.
Good god, I hate writing about myself. Whatever. I don't even know how to spell. Thank god for spell check or I never would have graduated college. Who waste's time with that anyway?
I type with two fingers. They are also talented in other ways as well. Have I written enough yet? So U think I work off a script do U... ?

Well, call me guilty. But it isn't the written word that brings a character to life. It is the actor himself who breathes life into the words and gives it BREATH. For at the start of a line one must inhale, or rather INSPIRE that which he would wish to convey to his audience.

As an ACTOR there are certain rules one must adhere to if one is to be successful, that is, if one is to Woo his audience. First of all, a PAUSE must be earned. Overly stated, a pause can bore an audience and is generally thought to be indulgent on the part of the actor not considering the audience or his fellow actors, but merely himself. This make's for BAD ACTING. But rather, one must PICK UP his LINES, and at the end of the other actors line to ensure a smooth performance.

Additionally, one must LEARN his lines and BE OFF BOOK, which renders the actor FREE to move about and PLAY with the ACTIONS, the VOICE, and even (and sometimes more importantly) it's SUBTEXT. For what is written in the SCRIPT is a far cry from the real meaning. It's what lies under the written word that gives it it's true DEPTH and THEME.

Sometimes a fellow actor loses concentration and drops a line. In this moment, the experienced actor must then IMPROVISE to ensure the imagery is not broken even for an instant. It can be very ENGAGING to see TALENT at this level for the actor has both gone OFF SCRIPT, and yet, has remained true both to the AUTHOR, the AUDIENCE, and his fellow ACTOR.

As far as the AUDIENCE is concerned the best advice I can give you is DON'T THINK ABOUT IT. What's really important here is that the your PARTNER on stage believe you, the audience will follow. For in the world of the THEATRE the audience does not exist. True, at time we play to them. And other times even speak to them. But in the world of the PLAY the only thing that exists is YOU and ME.

I've heard people say that actors are merely liar's. Not so. You see, everyone can tell a lie from the truth. Even a child can tell you that. But what makes acting good is the ability to tell the TRUTH. Even though we work from a SCRIPT, the audience recognizes that TRUTH because the damn thing is so familiar. As an audience member you see it because you've been there before.

Of course, the most important relationship is between that of ACTOR and DIRECTOR. The actor must trust his director and not be afraid to go into character to help tell the STORY.

So, a script can be useful. It guides us. Moves the story forward. Pushes us to find new area's both in the PLAY, and in ourselves. Here is your PLAYER. DIRECT me as U will.

Therefore my fellow THESPIAN, I shall leave U with this. Although I may speak daggers I shall use none, or art thou but a dagger of the MIND? All the world is a stage so can U love a lowly PLAYER?

Whatever.

Martial arts, self defense, theatre, going out, staying in, movies, cooking food, eating food, exercise, sleeping, my dog, my friends, being artistic, being spontaneous, procrastinating,...

Oh yea, anything Shakespeare, stretching, yoga, being tantric.
Having a sense of humor, not being afraid to try, not afraid to say no, willing to compromise, sticking to the fight, knowing when to walk away, realizing there is not always a need to act...,just being intelligent and considering, being aware in the heat of energy...,but remaining still.
