Dwayne Jensen DJ One Fathom/Soiree/Third Ear/Kms Records Born in Detroit Michigan - that’s right the Dee baby. I have also lived in London England. I am a DJ, and Producer of Electronic music. My true love is House, Techno, and Electro music. I was inspired early on by my mom who always played music in the house when I was a child and really taught me and my sisters the history of music. I owe her greatly for that blessing. I feel another big influence to me in my musical spectrum was a show that aired on WGPR back in the mid to late eighties with a DJ named The Electrifying MOJO. MOJO is responsible for shaping or shall I say re-shaping the minds of so many of Detroit's elite DJ's and artist that are stars today. I was honored to be one of his on air Dj's. I can still remember my first show with him. I was scared out of my mind. He saw I was nervous, and I remember him telling me, hey man don't sweat it baby...be yourself, and it will shine through. I had a great show. I will never forget what he told me, it has helped me in my life a many times. I have been a DJ and producer of dance music with a specialization in house for over 15 years now. I have played US and worldwide with the likes of Roy Davis Jr, Kenny Dope, E-Man, Kevin Saunderson, Derrick May, Juan Atkins, Jesse Saunders, Glen Underground, Ron Carrol, Brett Dancer, Jesse Outlaw, Doc Martin, Ron-D, Terrance Parker and many more. I have played in Detroit’s Electronic Music Festival on two occasions first in the DEMF in 2002 and last in the Fuse-In-Detroit festival in 2005. I am a monthly resident on Detroit’s only house music Radio primetime program called Club Insomnia witch airs every Sat night. My music has been played world wide in clubs and on Radio all over the world in places like the Shelter, Tunnel, Ministry of sounds, Knikkis Beach, Opium, Love Parade, DEMF, WMC, UDM Radio, Soul Radio, Soul Party Radio, Rooted grooves, Club Insomnia and many many more. I was voted one of the top 20 DJs and producers to influence and contribute to Detroit’s electronic musical scene by Metro times and Submerge Detroit. Music has been a love of mine for my entire life and house music has been a deep passion of mine since I first heard it back in the early eighties. I was hooked and believed in it every since. I have always committed myself to its development, culture and it's ever changing style. I feel blessed to have been so many places and met so many real ass people in my life and in the underground music scene. Life is something we must cherish and live to the fullest every day.
