So, I might not be the best person to write one of these things but here goes, I'll give it a shot. I moved to Florida a couple years ago with no intentions on playing music any longer, I had two kids and just didnt think I would have the time. I met a guy named Aaron Taylor who was playing in a band locally around town and we quickly became friends, and I had a handful of songs so we would just sit around and play after work and such. We were approached by another local band "He Just Kicks Good" who was starting out, to open a show they had. I immediately obliged and contacted my long time friend Chris Rupp who was still living in Richmond, Va. at the time to fly down and sit in with us and help out, and after a handful of email practices and a 2 day sit in, we were at the club playing on a stage once again. It truly inspired me to pursue another project, not really having any idea of what the band would entail. Shortly thereafter Aaron had a second daughter and his time with this band was pretty much over due to the obvious responsibilities of life. Chris Rupp decided to move down to Florida for a change of pace and naturally we played music together. Feeling like we were missing something artistically, we wanted to introduce other instruments into the mix. We then introduced Dave Myers of the aforementioned "He Just Kicks Good" to play drums and harmonica. Our time in this era was a pretty rough patch, although we did have some great times working out harmonies and structure, unfortunately due to the ailing economy and personal struggles of day to day adulthood life, we found ourselves needing to move onward to Austin, Texas. Since we have been in Austin we have become more focused on actually getting this thing off the ground. We are currently playing with a dear friend in Dave Arcos on the drums and are steadily looking for a bass player to help round out the sound ie... (contact us if interested). We have many plans to record a record in the very near future, it has been in the works for quite sometime, but I think at this point in our lives we dont want to just give up the ghost in the first quarter (if that makes any sense whatsoever). Thank you all for your valued anticipation and support we sincerely appreciate it.Leer Baker NEW MYSPACE LAYOUTS!
