Nutcase

Life is one big roller-coaster ride! My husband, Troy, and I live in a trailer at the top of our dream mountain property. We have a 280 degree view over looking Pike's Peak to the East, and the Sangre De Cristos to the South and South-West on over to the Breckenridge area 80 miles away. It's beautiful, but life isn't all fun and games here.
I work as the Marketing/Promotions Coordinator at the Double Eagle Hotel and Casino, approx. 15 miles from out property. Troy works hard at building our Garage/Apartment which we hope to rent out, and will soon be begining on our Dream Home at the top of the property. I am starting to learn how different the way of life is out here. Everything takes A LOT longer to get done, and people's work ethic isn't as strong, so we find ourselves often frustrated with the lack of progress we have been able to make on the house due to other's inability to get things done in a timely fashion. That's been the hard part, so we miss Florida more and more everyday. Then again, it IS beautiful out here, and we have a lot going for us if we can just get settled in properly. For now, life's an adventure, to say the least!
Things that I like: Hot tubbing, game nights, vodka redbull, giddy girlie conversations, my ability to get excited about the tiniest thing, an unexpected surprise, snuggling, feather pillows, puppy kisses, walking barefoot, camping, hiking, swimming, fishing, exploring,horses, Sunday Funday at Lemon Bar, the smell of fresh laundry, crunching acorns under my shoes, a warm bath, shopping, etc.
Things that I dislike: Rude people, maggots, swarms of bugs, flat hair, cell phone batteries, etc.
