I am here for Friends

About Me

There was less going on in my life. I'm getting back to my Macintosh roots. Not only do I have a MacBook Pro, but I now am the proud owner of an iPhone. This thing ROCKS. 'Nuff said.Steve and I are slave-owners to 2 Italian Greyhounds that we adopted the week after Steve's dog of 12 years crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Although they can't replace Radar, they have filled our life with the sound of little paws unconditionally thrilled to see us no matter how long we have been gone. Every time we look at them and see how content they are, we know we've done something good. Maybe one day, we'll adopt a couple of racing greyhounds (the big guys!), too.I started officiating Field Hockey for the local high schools and youth leagues in the area in 2000. What a great way to keep in touch with the game and get a little exercise and gas money while I'm at it. It lets me give back to a game that gave me so much at a time in my life where I needed something as rock solid as playing a sport can be.The current hobby is autocrossing i.e. racing the daily driver in a parking lot around cones against the clock. It gives me my performance driving fix. :-)And now I have a son. A beautiful baby boy who is consistently the happiest child I've ever seen. What an awesome disposition. We can't wait to have another! Of course that means that the next one will have to be a little hellion to keep the karma in balance. ha haThat's enough for now.

Steve feels his first baby kicks!

It's 5am, and I feel one of the dogs stand, stretch, and shake under the covers. The loudness of the jingle indicates that the big dog, IO, had awoken. He's an alarm clock, and he always wakes up abo...
