So I have been in Myspace for probably going on two years now and have finally done something with my page. I am 30 years old, have no kids and have never been married. I am currently in the US AirForce as a Tech Sgt and loving every day of it. I have been in the military for 10 years and have been stationed at Ramstein for 7 of them. I absolutely loved Europe and didnt ever want to leave. I have been to every country at least once. To include surfing on the coast of France, laying on the beaches in Greece, snowboarding the Alps in Switzerland, drinking the finest beers all though Germany, hanging out in Amsterdam;) , and partying with the craziest of them all up in Ireland. I Have had many many good times. So I just completed a 12 month deployment to Baghdad. Probably the absolutely worst time of my life. I Volunteered to go there and teach the Iraqis how to build an Air Force and maintain the aircrafts the U.S had donated to them. I was very optamistic going into the assignment having worked with them once before on my previous deployment to southern Iraq. It was probably the most education and eye opening experience of my life. Learning all about the Middle East, especially the true facts having lived with the Iraqis for a year. They became my good friends and nearly brothers. Dodging mortars and rockets on a weekly basis, seeing the hidden aspects of a war that 90% of the AF dont get to see in Kuwait, Qatar or some others. I really dont know how I feal about the war anymore? So anyways, here I am at Yokota AB in Tokyo, Japan. Havent really done much since Ive been here. Still trying to adjust to the new culture. So far its ok, but this place has some really big shoes to fill coming from a 7 year assignment in Europe. We shall see what comes of it......
