I'm not going to paint a pretty picture of myself that isn't true. Truth is, I am a complicated person. There's so much that goes on with me that most people don't talk about and don't understand nor will they ever. I used to be embarrassed to talk about this but not anymore. So, here's the truth: I suffer from Severe Depression, GAD, SAD, Panic Disorder, OCD, ADD, I'm also hypo-glycemic and I have asthma. Its alot to deal with. The good news is I'm getting back to standing on my own two feet. The last 7 years have been horribly debilitating. I finally got help and I am doing soooo much better. The down side is that I will be fighting this disease for the rest of my life but atleast now I'm getting the tools to lead a healthy life. I'm telling this because for a long time I thought I was alone. I just want people who suffer like this to know there's help out there. By the way, if anyone is reading this and is put off by it then your not even worth knowing anyway!It's been a long 4 years but I'm finally figuring out who I am and who I could be. About 4 mos. ago I realized I was spirtually dead. I started to read the bible and found the answers I was looking for. I got on my knees and accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. I am a "new" Born Again Christian. Having my new faith has been a big part of my getting healthy again. I read the bible everyday and work on my twelve steps. ( I'm having a hard time learning to forgive myself and others, work in progress). I am so thankful and feel so blessed. My family, friends, Goddaughter and 4 cats are my treasures in my life. They are most important to me. Once your in my heart there's no getting out!I recently became Godmother to one of my best friends first child. Her name is Raya Chanelle. I am so inlove with this little girl. Ever since the 1st time I held her in my arms she has shined a bright light on my life and I realized there was nothing more important than giving her my love and attention for the rest of her life. I never wanted children until I met her. I love you Raya!! I'm a really good person who loves to love and I'm just trying to live a good, decent life. I don't judge people for who they are because that's not my place. I accept people for whoever they are but I find that I need positive people in my life. Can't be around negative people or environments. There's just no purpose in that. I am now currently back at college and actually enjoying it! Who would have thought???? 2006GOD BLESS!! KAREN
