My name is Heather. I'm a
Christian | Wife | Daughter | Sister | Aunt | Godmother | Friend.
The in-a-nutshell story of me:
I'm a Christian. I believe that Jesus Christ is the only hope for a dying world.
I'm not a typical redhead - or so I've been told. Maybe because I don't have the infamous temper that goes with the hair color.
I'm married to the most amazing, caring, handsome, hilarious, strongest, adorable-est man in the entire world. I love being his wife. <3
I have the greatest family. Ever. They're nutty & dysfunctional, in a totally functional way. Mom says we put the 'fun' in 'funky', and I believe her. :D
I'm not a 'girly girl', by any means. Pretty much, I've found a healthy balance between glamour & its polar opposite.
I'm seriously not interested in politics. Not even a little bit.
I hate drama with a passion.. it should die.
I like chocolate. No, scratch that - I love chocolate. Probably more than any person should. It makes my heart happy. :D
Starbucks is my coffee shop of choice. It's amazinggg. <3
I'm a closet earring fanatic.
I love music, chick flicks, bubble baths, & rainy days.
I'm a big-time picture person, and I've almost always got my camera with me to take the next embarrassing "Heather, please don't post that on myspace!" picture.
I try to always put others ahead of myself, because I realize the entire world doesn't revolve around me.
I'm not defined by my marriage, my family, my job, or any other detail of my life except for this one fact: Jesus Christ loves me enough that He died for my sins, and so His love is the one thing that defines me. It's because of His love that I have hope for the future; it's because of His love that I can love others, and try to imitate how He loves without limit; it's because of His love that I'm alive. Nothing compares with it, nothing comes before it, and nothing can take its place. The only reason my life has any worth or value is because it was radically & lovingly redeemed on the cross, and I'll forever praise my Heavenly Father for that. :D
