It is the spectator, and not life, that art really mirrors. - Oscar Wilde

About Me

I'm happily married. I enjoy my friends, bike trails, scrapbooking, reading, good movies, the art on Tarot cards, and sushi. I love to take pictures of animals, scenery and odd stuff.

My Interests

I love to read and I'll read just about anything. Fantasy and Sci Fi are mostly what I read lately though. My favorite authors include, but are not limited to; Neil Gaiman, Isabelle Allende, Margaret Atwood, Ray Bradbury, Lian Hearn (Tales of the Otori Series), George R. R. Martin and Richard Matheson.
A few of my favorite poets are Charles Bukowski, Denise Levertov, Sylvia Plath, and Carl Sandburg. But don't ask me to quote anything because I have the worst long term memory of anyone in my age group excluding most amnesiacs and alzheimer patients.
I love to write and though I haven't finished the all american novel (yet), I do have some poetry published on the web here and there, and also a very cheesy short story--oh and a book review. My mother in law used one of my poems as an in-class assignment for her art students and I was very flattered. She is a wonderful artist.
