About Me

Tribes of Asher was formed in late 2006 by bringing together members of two local Colorado Springs bands: Solanum and Embracing Death. The newly formed band quickly got started writing new material and songs, but due to conflict of interest Tribes of Asher parted ways with their singer. In May, the band went into the studio to record their first demo and quikly started playing shows at such places as the Green Room,Union Station,The Underground. Currently, the band has gone through a few changes. Original members Sean (drums) & Cory (guitar) have pcked up Mike Whittington on bass, Mike Swett and Jonathan Pennington for vocals & Marc King on guitar. TOA has developed a unique sound by combining east coast breakdowns and sludge core with fast thrash west coast shreads wile keeping the balance with clean and metal vocals.This rare blend with take the fans of metal as well as rock and leave them wanting more. ..

Influences:The big bands that have influenced us in some ways are: Bring me the horizon,In flames,Attack Attack,Amon Amarth,Eluveitie,Escape the fate,Devil wears prada,Killswitch Engage,As i lay Dying,Rage against the machine,Finntroll,Union Underground,A Day To Remember,Underoath....
Sounds Like: East coast breakdowns and sludgecore infused with west coast thrash blended together with clean vocals and metal growls in other words we sound like Tribes of Asher!!!
