About Me
Holy Bible:
My Life Verse: Book Of Genesis 45:5 - "Therefore be not grieve, Nor be angry with thy selves, that ye sold me hither; For God sent me here before you to preserve life."-Why is this my Life Verse?
Well If you know the story of Joseph you'll know that Joseph was sold to slavery in Egypt by his brothers. (And why was he sold? Well because they were jealous, for their Father Jacob loved him most because he's the youngest.) On top of that Joseph was put in prison for something he did not do. However, at the end of it all Joseph came out on top and became the adviser for the Pharaoh. No man in ranks is higher than he except the Pharaoh. Now let us analyze the passage; This particular passage was when Joseph revealed him self to his brother. And his brothers were sure that he had died a long time ago. "Therefore be not grieve" Do not cry or feel sad or have any remorse. "Nor Angry with thy selves" Do not think it's your fault on what happened to me (Joseph) selling me to slavery. "For God sent me here before you to preserve Life" In the story to make things clear, the Pharaoh had a Dream. He had two different dreams at the same night. One is 7 years of good years and the other is 7 years of famine (food shortages). Now the Pharaoh went through all of the great minds in Egypt, from sorceress to his other adviser to all the great minds he could find. Unfortunately none can decipher the riddles of his dreams. Then one man that work for the Pharaoh remember Joseph interpreting his dream. For it was Joseph that told that very man while they were in Prison that he will be restore to his position with the Pharaoh while the other man was to subdue death. And Joseph's interpretation of their dreams came true. So thus, the Pharaoh seek out Joseph from Prison. Joseph then told the Pharaoh of his dreams; 7 years of Good years to fallow with 7 years of Famine throughout the Land. Joseph suggested that in the 7 years of Good years they harvest all that they need and store some extra for them in preparation for the 7 years of Famine. The Pharaoh was highly impressed with Joseph intellect that he made Joseph in-charge of organizing the harvesting of crops and cattle. And made Joseph his adviser, and no one in the Land of Egypt is above him except for the Pharaoh. And when time come to pass, and the Famine spread, it did not only spread in Egypt but, it had also spread in the Land of Canaan where Joseph is from and where his family resides. And that's were they once again re-united for after so many years due to the Famine. And still after all that his brothers did to him, he took the high road and forgave them for their transgressions. He said "For God sent me here before you to perceive life". God has a plan, and we don't know what it is just yet but in due time we will know God's plans for us. Just as Joseph did after all that he'd been through. Nevertheless, Joseph was still favored; he was favored by his master when he was a slave because he is a good worker. And was also favored by his master's wife which had lead him to Prison, for his master's wife was trying to lay with him. And Joseph being a God fearing man, he knows not to temper with another man's wife, especially his master's (btw this was before the 10 commandments). Unfortunately, he found himself in a very unavoidable situation and as he ran from her his robe got left behind which lead to the accusation of molestation from his part toward the master's wife. That is how he found himself in Prison. And even in prison, since he was a very well like and being a respectful man, the guards too favored him. Bottom line of this story is... God has a plan for us all, and the better we are the more God will provided for our needs and contentment if not completion. This is my Life Verse for it gives me Hope through Faith. Because without Faith, there is no Hope. We all know that things happens and we don't why they happen, they just do. And most of the time we are way too stuck up and selfish that we just fall in to our own misery. Read your bible and discover your life, for everything you know, everything that you don't know, it's all in this book. Go to church for further understanding. (And I'm talking about Christian Church not Catholic, for some reason Catholic Church just seem so Dull.) Furthermore, I think the bible is the best self help book you can ever have,(and we all need help) and going to Church is the best therapy you can go to and it's free too, unless your cynical and think that the Church is just a scam to propagate money. I was like that once, but that's when I knew nothing. See in general we are all quick to judge. Why? because it's what we hear and what we see, it's what the world says. For the world is polluted with unbelievers. Also, put it this way too it's cheaper than actually getting professional help and buying all those self help books/dvds and whatnot. Now those are scams, and the ones that do works, they just got their stuff from the bible; Meaning, it's nothing that the bible hasn't covered. Seriously read your bible and find out for your self, go to Church and see it for your self. Not only that, it's a place to learn, it's the first place were you can ameliorate your self. Fear God, Love God, And Be HUMBLE. In Jesus name, I'll pray for all of you that read this. Amen!
-Isaiah 57:15-21 - The high and lofty one who lives in eternity, the Holy One, says this: "I live in the high and holy place with those whose spirits are contrite and humble. I restore the crushed spirit of the humble and revive the courage of those with repentant hearts. For I will not fight against you forever; I will not always be angry. If I were, all people would pass away- all the souls I have made. I was angry, so I punished this greedy people. I withdrew from them, but they kept going on their own stubborn way. I have seen what they do, but I will heal them anyway! I will lead them. I will comfort those who mourn, bringing words of praise to their lips. May they have abundant peace, both near and far," says the Lord, who heals them. "But those who still reject me are like the restless sea, which is never still but continually churns up mud and dirt. There is no peace for the wicked," says my God.
-Proverbs 24:5 - The wise are mightier than the strong, and those with knowledge goes stronger and stronger.
