These young warriors are not here to save the world, for the message is quite apparent that they are mere vessels who offer a clear and concise word that will help you save yo self. Though it is true that these men were inspired by artists such as: D-boy, Stephen Wiley, and Tupac Shakur, DC talk, Dr. Dre, SFC, Outkast, Michael Peace, O.G.G. (a.k.a. Camp 8) and the list goes on. But they will never deny that the original inspiration of the music comes from God as they journey through life. To him alone they will give all honor and praise and youll never hear them speak otherwise lest they be called any other name than his sons. The SOG family is not color blind and you will not find contradiction or compromise in their music, this is kingdom music. Some say keeping it real, but really its about integrity. These men have either lived it or they are going through it, and everything else is just divine inspiration. Another source of strength and unity comes from the brotherhood that is shared between them in blood and in spirit.The Alder brothers: David, Darrin, and Dwight Jr. had a song in their hearts from the beginning and like many young talented artists they were often encouraged and initiated to sing by their mother and grandmother during their early childhood days at Griddine Temple Holiness Church. David started writing at age 13 and producing his own music at age 15, and like his older brother so did Darrin at age 10, who is now the lead producer of the group. Dwights writing abilities matured later in time with experience. They started performing their own music in 1995 and the tracks were laid down by their uncle, Mr. Darrell C. Alder Sr. an evangelist, who is also a minister of music and resides in Sacramento CA. These young men formerly known as the Young Righteous Poets, traveled around the city to different local churches and other events. The first song written and produced by them was called, Examine Yo Self, and that has been a model and a standard for them throughout the years. However, the operation has changed and these brothers will continue as a group on the S.P.I.T.T. NO EVIL label where they are also known as Carnals Rejection, an operation that includes these three gentlemen as the 1, 2, and 3 legs of this race and GOD as The Anchor. The debut arrival is soon to come.The vision goes far beyond a beat, lyrics, and a hook for them. S.P.I.T.T. the slang term for rhythm and flowing is also an acronym given to Beloved years before SOG ministries started; it means Spiritually Predestined Initially for This Time. These men are entrepreneurs on the rise. Beloved, Dillagence, & 429 are the inspired names given to these men when on the mic & and in ministry.
