Born in Cote d'Ivoire last century. Maxence has been exposed to all types of music from multiple African rhythms, Socca, Zouk ....to Jazz. He found in Narcisse Loba a big brother from the neighborhood a mentor. In fact Narcisse was already an established musician in Abidjan capital of African music. As a big brother Narcisse had lead him to what a real musican should be; "HUMBLE, OPEN TO LEARN YET FOCUS"Since Maxence was more into music than conventional school, his parents sent him to France where he met with Olivier James and other friends from school, where they started performing around town in Nice France. Ten later Maxence moved to the USA.Maxence 1st gig was a blues gig in one of the top blues club in Washington, DC.Doc Samba ( bass doctor) a brother from Senegal and Walter another Bass master helped him find his "Mark". He later moved to Houston where he has been introduced to Zydeco music. Since then Maxence has performed, recorded and produced with some of the top musicians in Houston. He is presently playing with Lil Brian.He realizes that to know him will be a worthy journey!
