About Me

Atlanta born and raised Rodrick Antwon Flowers A.K.A “Prince Royal” is the new future of hip hop. The multi-talented song writer, MC, musician, and singer has been through it all, from the highest point of his career to the lowest. This is what makes him the young outgoing man of today. Prince was raised in Decatur, Georgia “Zone 6” the oldest of three children and the only boy. Prince began to show his talents through music at the tender age of nine. Singing in a small elementary chorus. Which there he was given multiple of solo’s to perform. At the age of twelve Prince began to play the saxophone in middle school, where he was also was given numerous of solo’s. Prince move to Ellenwood, Georgia at the age of thirteen because of a tragic event in 2000. Prince house was burned to the ground and was left homeless for almost a year. When Prince moved to Ellenwood he began going to Cedar Grove Middle School, where there he was still playing the saxophone. It was not until Prince start going to Cedar Grove High that he stop playing his instrument. I guess you can say that Prince was confused about what he wanted to do around this time. Until one day in high school he seen a couple of guys rapping at a table in the lunch room. Prince sat down at the table and began listening. For about two weeks Prince was listening. Until one day two of Prince close friends ask him to rap with them. Prince spit a couple of lines and that was it, the whole table laughed. After that day Prince began writing. Within a couple of weeks Prince return to the table and began rapping. This time things was different the whole table was shocked. Prince got up and walked away. The next day people was asking Prince to spit with them. From that day Prince became an MC. Prince 11th grade year was the first time he perform as an MC on stage rapping a song he wrote “LOVING YOU” along with his best friend Jae Love. Which later became a group called “285” with there local hit “ATL’S GOT IT”. The group lasted for about two years. They open up for acts like: YOUNG JOC, SAMMIE, LLOYD, SPARKY D, BIG DELPH, MACEO and many more. They were about to get signed to an independent label called “X-LARGE RECORDS” but there was complications. Prince eventually was dropped from 285 and was left at the bottom to climb back up. Within a couple of weeks prince was introduced to an artist name “Q DA KID” which is now signed to “TAG RECORDS”. They became real good friends real quick. People use to call Prince “Q’s protégé”. They did numerous of shows and songs together. Where ever you seen “Q” you saw Prince. Prince continues to grind to this day making music like never before with his classic Atlanta flow to his dominating punch lines. Prince will not stop until he gets what he truly deserves. Keep your eyes open for this young man because he is “HIP HOP’S FUTURE”. Known as the “PRINCE OF DA SOUTH”!
