At the tender age of twenty, Scott Maurice is one of the most promising talents to come out of the UK. Set to release his debut single on In-Ctrl Recordings in early June, this man is ready to take the UK by storm. The debut single, Never Leave Me Alone, takes a look back six years to when the UK Garage scene blew up the commercial market. Working closely with the new UK Garage production duo, Control-S, who have been dubbed as ‘the next Artful Dodger’ by DJ EZ (Kiss 100), this single brings back the sound that people fell in love with back in 2001. Having had many successful releases on Prolific Recordings, Riddler Records and their own label, In-Ctrl Recordings, Control-S are pushing Scott hard through the UK Garage scene and preparing him for the journey ahead. Never Leave Me Alone also features the vocal talents of MC Majestic, one of the biggest MC’s the in Nu-Skool UK Garage scene, and gives the track a real commercial edge...
Scott started his career in the entertainment industry at the age of 16 when he was awarded a scholarship into the Pineapple Dance School. From there he went onto study Musical Theatre at Hertford Regional College and gained 3 distinctions. He now teaches Dance at Pineapple and is a member of 4 different dance groups in the UK, having appeared on BBC’s Top Of The Pops, Blue Peter and Proms In The Park. Scott has also modelled for companies such as BMW and Game, as well as working with the Original Song Writers Club over the past few years. Now, Scott is ready to take on the music industry properly with his fresh sound and amazing vocal talents.
Already with a handful of releases lined up on In-Ctrl Recordings and Jammin Records, including the second release, Distant Shores, Scott is busy back in the studio writing with Control-S and pushing himself as a singer and songwriter .
