BAND BIO
We are Those Girls.
We are a three piece band from Woking.
Orginally Michelle and Julie formed the band because they wanted to compete for Winston Churchill School's battle of the bands, with a cover version of '500 Miles' by The Proclaimers. Michelle is the guitarist and vocals, whereas Julie was just vocals.
But since then Michelle and Julie have been writing songs and have had a few performances, one at Open Mic Night at Friday Club in St.John's Youth Centre, at Winston Churchill Battle of The Bands, aswell as the end of term WYAC gig.
Julie started to play drums, and now has a drum kit in her spare room!
Those Girls then had a new addition to their band, Elly, who played Bass. We then had to put bass to the songs and continue practicing.
After being in Those Girls a while, Elly left the band.
Not long after Elly left, we came across Tasha. She has now joined the band and will be playing some Bass and Guitar. :)
We have four finished songs, now needing bass added to them, aswell as a few other lyrics needing melodies.

OMG!
I totally forgot all about this, we havent been on this band myspace in a bit, so sorry if anybody has been constantly viewing this page to wait for an update haha.
well whats gone in the life of julie... well I got my drum kit today =), it's just squeezed into the guest bedroom of my house so i've been practising hoping not to wake the neighbours up! haha.
I have had loads of coursework to do recently, and just finished re-drafting my history. [well most of it] and now to do a english essay, well at least that's just homework.
Lil Chris gig got cancelled and I cried
but We Are Scientists is next week and i'm excited!

Hey,
Today was an OK day for me...
I've got to do stacks of Graphics work...
Now I regret leaving it until the last minute!
Band practice later. Going to add bass to the songs and see what else we can fit in!
Was going to see Sweeny Todd tonight...but i'm not.
Doesn't that show how dedicated I am to this band! Haha.
Although I can't do band practice next week. Have to do this event for college. Fun fun fun!!
Julie and Elly don't know that I can't go yet, so it should be a nice suprise for them!!
Right, I'm off!

Hello! Well basically this our little diary log, if there starts to get too many then we'll have to cut them down, but basically, Me, Elly or Michelle will write down what's happening in our lives..
So me, well me and Elly just wrote a song, no title yet =P
Erm, I have history homework to do, I'm really delaying it cos I don't know what to do, and I also have English Lit CW to do =P
Band Practice tomorrow, should be fun!
I'm going to see Lil Chris! Just got tickets booked! I'm well excited! =P
