One of the best words used to describe this band would be endurance!Since it was formed in early 2007 in Mobile,Al,this band has had to endure countless obstacles to be able to get to where they are today.With around 12-15 members come and gone,front man Jeremy Taylor is the only original member left!Many people wonder how a band that has had that many line up changes in such a short time has been able to progress like this band has.Conquering over 100 shows in just 17 months,playing all over the south east from Texas to Georgia and all points in between,traveling every weekend and not settling for what the local scene has to offer them,and turning heads every where they go,endurance and determination are two things this unit does not lack!The guys have moved the location of their operation over to the New Orleans area since the addition of guitarist Brad Miliken,a NOLA native.They love the atmosphere there,and the guys claim that their is just something in the air there that brings out the best in what they do collectively.Apathy has developed a great fan base along the gulf coast,as well the Atlanta and Nashville areas.They have said many times they wish they could somehow live in all 3 places at once!The band is taking some time off the road through the end of the year,and by that they will just be playing more along the gulf coast area and by no means will they stop playing shows all together,as they are writing new material with the current line up and preparing to record their album and shoot their first music video."We feel like we owe our fans more!We have just been giving them what got us to where we are for the past year,and we know they are ready for some new stuff,and we are almost ready to give it to them!The songs we play were all written by our former lead guitarist,and it is unfair that our current line up has to sit in that pocket of going through the motions and playing someone else songs.Prepare yourselves for a new Apathy!We can not deny our sound is changing,and we may lose some fans,as well as gain some,but I have got to let these guys bleed out what is inside of them.It is unfair of me to expect them to stay in this bubble.I am anxious to make the change!" front man Jeremy was quoted as saying about the bands future.One thing is certain,these guys will not give up,and they will continue to endure whatever may come,and keep progressing forward!!!!
