KHIERSTIN aka Blonde Addiction

This 19 year-old former model fronts the four-piece band (www.khierstin.com ) that bears her name, and though together only a relatively brief time, Khierstin Nichole - Rob Miranda (lead guitar), Erwin Schmidt (bass) and Chris Hendrich (drums) -- have already been in the studio with chart-topping producer Michael Eckart ( Candyman, Staci Q), where they recorded their EP. The band is already winning fans, based on their frenetic performances.Quite simply: They Rock!
Khierstin was 14 when she said that she wanted to sing and not model, but Khierstin had been singing since she was 3 years old, recalls Thomas, her savvy mom/manager or manager/mom, who supported her children by running her own business for 18 years as an evidence coordinator for accident reconstruction specialists.
The band and I are best friends, Khierstin reveals of the relationships she has with the hand-picked musicians. We're so close. It's awesome. We have so much fun together, and we all love what we do. They're amazing musicians and every one of them I am so blessed to have.
Prior to forming Khierstin, the then-solo artist applied her five-octave vocal range to pop-rock, but was not fulfilled by pop/rock & decided to choose a band that she could take in the direction her music was going, which was Rock.
It's definitely got more of a rock edge now. We're tight and we have a lot of fun and energy on stage, she says, and anyone who has caught Khierstin's impressive set at B. B. King's would agree.
They win immediate fans because they draw from within the audience with their heart & soul driven live performances.
