About Me

About Michelle: "I grew up on a farm in Tennessee. some of my favorite memories are bottle-feeding calves, being surrounded by animals...and running barefoot thru the grass. Ive always had a love for music. Growing up in the south, southern gospel, bluegrass and country music was always heard through out our home and often played on the porch. I have explored various forms of arts and music throughout my life. I picked up the guitar around age 16 and am basically self-taught (with a little help from Mel Bay.) I played bluegrass mandolin in my early 20's. I think the mandolin is is the most beautiful sound in the world. Bluegrass is my all time favorite(when it is pure,) but I love country, pop, southern rock, worship, and folk. I have a huge appreciation for music and the artists who create it. I am moved by the sounds of stringed instruments in harmony and can be brought to tears just by that sound. Making music is my passion and where I am most happy. I continuously strive to be original, and make my own style of music. I have uploaded some of my original songs, from my new acoustic cd. I welcome any and all feedback."

Sounds Like: "Ive been told I sound like various female artists because I sing their songs. You will have to be the judge of that. I strive to keep my own unique sound, and hope to create music that reflects that."
