Coming from a rock/metal background, Louie AKA "James Kent "is no stranger to the big stage having previously been the bassist for Sydney metal act Brian who's unique sound features on the "Miller Street Sessions" compilation (Tony McDonnell/John Morrison) as well as performing in front of packed houses at various venues such as Sydney's Enmore Theater.
Having previously been an avid rock and roll gigger, Louie was dragged to his first ever rave (Utopia, Sydney NYE 05/06 - ASYS, Cosmic Gate). That evening a seed was planted, a love for trance, which would still take a back seat to the rock. At least for now.
While continuing to gig with Brian, Louie finally turned 18 and discovered the Sydney club scene. In 2006 when Brian's plans were put on hold for various reasons, Louie's love for trance and hardstyles got the better of him and he began producing a blend of the two genres (Hardstyle-Trance) with slight metalic influences.
In an age where everyone seems to want to be a DJ, Louie remains adament that he is in it for the right reasons."I make music and I love performing. Unfortunately though, it's a necessity to DJ if you want to "Perform" this kind of music live. Oh well... it's good fun anyway"
