Long Beach Head Honcho A.K.A. AquaMan

About Me

A new movement has started and spread through the whole U.S. nation. Hip-Hop has evolved throughout the last couple years as the new school takes over with a brand new taste, or in other words, something we like to call Swagger. Music that you’ve known as Rap or Hip-Hop has transformed into something the streets now call Crack Muzik. Now as new stars are born, they’ll rise with more styles and new flavors are brought into the music culture. The new school colides with the old school to make music what it is today.
Born Juan P. Cortez in 1989, a new movement has rised from the origins of Long Beach, the heart of California. Paradox as a child was raised in the streets of Long Beach with music nowhere near his thoughts. Once reaching High School (Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo H. School) Paradox’s life would change for the rest of his time being as his passion for music grew deeply. With this much dedication it would inspire him to pick up a pad and pencil and begin writing what’s on his mind. A couple months later, with enough time and dedication, his talent for writing was noticed by many of his friends and relatives in his local city and spread to many known places such as Compton, Los Angeles and many more. In order for Paradox to be known, he would challenge his fellow classmates to battle inbetween classes, and with a large crowd. After his first couple rounds, he got what he was looking for, which was recognition. From there .., many of his classmates couldn’t wait to see what Paradox had in store fr the streets. With time, Paradox would meet new people who shared the same goal as himself and thus joined the new movement we know today as the FOUR TRE HUSTLAS. From there on it was straight to the top with a little help from Lil Bang and the rest of the crew. Paradox’s voice was heard through the mic as he put his lyrics to the test. Hitting the streets with hardcore rhymes such as metaphors and punchlines made a big name for Paradox and had a buzz going through the whole city. "People that I’ve never met would know who I am and what I was capable of once I’m placed behind the mic. I know that haters will always be there, but that just inspires me to do better and prove them wrong of they’re beliefs. But honestly... I’ve never met anyone who didn’t like my shit. Through the whole song I would have heads bobbing and nothing but good comments about my shit. Only thing missing to them was the great quality I need my shit on. From there I would rise to the top in the eyes of others as I’ve heard," explains Paradox. And to shock the crowd even more, many didn’t believe that Paradox was hispanic. With patience, the streets couldn’t wait for the mixtape. The new movement has started. FOUR TRE is taking over, see us in DownTown, we got it locked.
