The Biography of Eileen Frances O’Hara (formerly Womack)Born Eileen Frances Womack on October 4, 1961 in Las Vegas, Nevada, to Roy and Barbara Womack, as fate would have it, Eileen’s birth announcements stated to the world that “A Star is Bornâ€.Eileen spent her early childhood with her siblings, Roy and Kathleen, on their family’s ranch in Northern Nevada. She enjoyed raising her horses Little Joe and Miss Kitty. Eileen also enjoyed hiking, camping, skiing, and many other outdoor activities that living in the beautiful Sierra Nevada Mountains offer. Even at an early age Eileen was bitten by the theater bug, landing the lead role in her first school play at age 9. Athletic by nature, Eileen used to play a game with her brother and sister they called “stuntman’, in which they would choreograph “stunt†fights complete with flips and falls.Her teenage years found her on Maui, Hawaii, where she was active in local theatre. Eileen graduated from St. Anthony’s High School in Wailuku, Maui, where she directed her first play.From Hawaii, Eileen moved to Los Angeles, California, where she lived a very busy life: going to college, working a day job, going to auditions, and landing the odd bit parts in film and television. It was in Los Angeles that Eileen found the underground Rock-n-Roll Scene. In the early 80’s, Los Angeles was alive with clubs. Eileen could be seen frequenting Cathouse, Scream, FM Station, Gazzaris, The Rainbow, and The Roxy to name a few. Eileen sang in several bands. Her favorite was a glitter band called Ruby Slippers. With Eileen decked out in big hair, glitter, beads, corset, and petticoats, Ruby Slippers regularly shared billing with the bands Guns-N-Roses, White Lion, and Great White.While Eileen was at a commercial audition in Hollywood, a casting director invited her to audition with Mat Cimber, the producer of the hit 80’s television show, G.L.O.W., the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling. He was casting for upcoming seasons 3, 4, and 5. After the audition Mat invited Eileen to Las Vegas to participate in wrestling “boot campâ€. This was grueling wrestling training, after the first 3 weeks many girls did not make the cut. Eileen made it through 3 casting cuts and after two months of training was offered a 3 season contract to play Melody Trouble Vixen, M.T.V; the Bad Girl Rock-n-Roll Wrestler. In addition to her other talents, Eileen was now a stunt woman.Although not credited Eileen was a contributing writer for the G.L.O.W. show. She wrote raps for herself and many other characters, sketch comedy, songs, storylines, designed costumes, and developed characters. At the producer’s request, Eileen held acting classes for cast members and became one of the show’s wrestling trainers. With G.L.O.W. Eileen went on three national and one international tour. She also performed with Stallone’s Knockouts and Hollywood Hits.In 1991, Eileen married Los Angeles musician John O’Hara. Although they were divorced in 1993, Eileen Kept the last name of O’Hara.From there it was historical theater, stunts, black powder, and sea battles with Brethren of the Coast, parts in A&E’s Sea Tales, commercials, and writing.In 2003, Eileen Co-Produced a live show in Los Angeles at the El Rey Theater called “G.L.O.W., Live at the El Reyâ€; a reunion show with new and classic cast members. She wrote the script, directed show, and starred as Melody Trouble Vixen, MTV; the manager of the bad girl wrestlers.
