Anaheim school coach killed in motorcycle crash
Esperanza High School Assistant Coach Ryan Bousquet, 25, was motorcyclist who died in Monday wreck, police say.

THE ORANGE COUNTY REGISTERANAHEIM – Authorities today released the identity of the 25-year-old man who was killed Monday when his motorcycle went off the road and slammed into a metal guardrail.Ryan Bousquet, 25, of Yorba Linda was headed west on Santa Ana Canyon Road between Pinney Drive and Lakeview Avenue about 1:50 a.m. riding his 2002 Suzuki motorcycle when the accident occurred, said Sgt. Rick Martinez of the Anaheim Police Department.After the motorcycle struck the guardrail, it hit a wooden support post, and he was thrown from the motorcycle, Martinez said.Speed is believed to have been a factor in the crash, Martinez said.Bousquet was pronounced dead at the scene.Bousquet had been an assistant coach for the men's cross country team at Esperanza High School for two years.Bousquet, one of the nation's top milers, graduated from Esperanza in 2000. He went on to run cross country at Arizona State and then transferred to Orange Coast College.
