We started our activities in 1993 as a record and musical publishing company, producing CDs for the relaxation and the wellness markets. During these years we have broadened our catalogue to include different musical genres as well as new media, intensifying our presence in the market.
Our breakthrough model of distribution reaches not only traditional music suppliers like CD stores but also shopping malls, supermarkets and e-commerce. We sell our products in alternative shops like natural and health items stores, pet-shops, cultural centers, gardening stores, natural food restaurants and others. With the help of special stands and displays, listening stations and exclusive merchandising our remarkable market actions have reached an increasing number of costumers.
Our special marketing department focuses on the development of corporative personalized projects, attending Brazilian and Multinational companies. Products vary from a small gift to a whole marketing campaign designed to bring companies closer to their final costumers.
In the year of 2007 we launched the portal estiloazul.com.br to work more intensely in the wellness market. “Estilo Azul†offers a safe environment for the sale of CDs (Physical and Digital Download), books and all kind of products focused on health balance, beauty, and better quality of life. The website offers also free online radio that allows customers to listen to the whole catalogue of Azul Music. Clients can find in our website all kinds of news related to the human wellbeing.
Working internationally, Azul Music has already licensed over seven hundred tracks and albums to countries like Canada, United States, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Portugal, France, Italy, Germany, Holland, Belgium, Norway, Finland, Russia, India, China, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia and Japan.
In terms of social responsibility Azul Music is in accordance with the international norms of SA8000, and certificated by ABRINQ since 2002. ABRINQ certifies companies that respect and support children rights developing programs to help those in need. We are constantly involved in philanthropy and volunteer actions, donation of products to entities that help poor communities, orphanages, asylums, people with special needs, community radio stations and libraries.
In 2008, we launched a new service called MUSIDELIVERY, which offers solutions in publishing, synch and marketing actions, plus online distribution to independent artists.
