In Loving Memory of JDenzel 26 years old from Peterborough, the Singer and MC has been involved in music industry for many years, His Music video "Listen" and Album "It is what it is" both out now Official launch date was the 28th Nov 06 He had his Lauch party at Radius. You will find his album in HMV and other good music stores and his Video on Channel U UKs no1 urban music channel. Not many artist around the globe can do Hip-Hop as well as RnB to the level this guy can not too mention the fact he’s capable of flowing on the biggest of grime tracks. He has performed everywhere form East Anglia to London to Napa and even this year Malia were he performed on same stage as acts like DJ Luck Mc Neat and the Heartless Crew looks good performs better and is some real UK talent. JDenzel real name Jason Denzel Bennett hails from the city of Peterborough been on the grind for many years but after being forced to take a break from music after undergoing major surgey this year and being in hospital for nearly 2months, J emerged more focused then ever spending every minute he has on music related endeavours.In his spare time he helped out at Topgrade academy which is a school that helps in educating young people in participating in music be it production dj-ing or helping young people to learn how to write songs and structure their own material giving them pointers on word play and performance J’s helped out in sessions from schools to Youth offending team to female secure units! when you take into consideration he’d moved out of home aged 16 and was into some wreckless things. His father was killed when JDenzel was only 18, 9 years to the day JDenzel had passed away on 30/10/07. He is also a father of 3 children which he looked after regularly. “ If it wasn’t for my children and music I don’t know what I’d be doing now probably be locked up on doing some stupidness whats happened to me in my life so far is what inspires my music and so I strive to make a better future for my kids and at the same time I want to help give back to kids in the same position as I was†Despite these adversities he has managed to set-up his own small independent label JMA Soul records in the name of his children Jerome Mya and Ashton has finished his debut Album entitled “it is what it is†His first music video got straight in at no11 in the UK Official urban music charts. Not too mention radio play on local underground pirate and internet stations such as BBC Radio Cambs Heat fm Flames fm Blackrose fm and ukconspiracy. The main artists in PDC are JAJA SOZE, BIRDIE, DVS, QUINNY CRIPT, SHAK CORLEONE, INCH, TI-NIZZY, MANTANNA, NAJA SOZE, and TEMPMAN. TERRA, formally associated with the name Terra K-I-D is no new name to the Uk Grime Scene. Being involved for over 4 years now, at the age 19 he is clearly becoming one of few talented Mc's whom youngstars look up to. Starting at the tender age of 13, "spitting" in the playground of secondary school amongst other big names now in the scene such as Sharky Major, Tinchy Stryder...he watched and learned the rules, cheats and techniques of becoming a better MC. During this time, music was a really big part of his life, however he never took Mcing very serious, until the day he got a massive and unexpected response at a youthclub in his area. This motivated him and made him realise he could probably make something out of it. Following in his big brothers footsteps "Mc Camar" who was in crew "Kamikaze", he watched him record in the studio and this again, gave him that extra push to be sure thats what he wanted to be doing. He decided to find a crew to role with and show support just to get his name travelling. "SBL(Shiver Blade Legion)" was the first serious crew he was involved in consisting of 3 other people. This was not taken as serious as TERRA hoped so the crew split up and did music together but as a joke. He then joined a crew called "Karnage Klan" including a few other MC's and this went quite well. He developed within this crew, as they went on radio stations such as RAW UK, HAV IT Fm, AXE FM and URBANTINGZ. Over 6 months passed and the name was pretty well established but it wasn't enough for TERRA. The crew had some wrong decisions and went seperate ways. TERRA continued to show the enthusiam and dedication, performing at mini raves,parties,clubs at the age of 16, he felt he was doing alright. Then going on to stations like Manic Fm and having one or two of his songs on De JA Vu helped him alot. He then put together a mixtape called "Kid in Darkness vol.1", this blew away many listeners and people started taking him seriously. To jump 2 years ahead, TERRA was making music he felt was needed in society. With hits such as "This Chick" played on Ace & Vis' show on BBC1Xtra, the talent was getting noticed quite fast. Now with another mixtape having bin released called "The Kid In me" the people know the levels and TERRA is stil on his grind.
