Quest for Fire

Quest for Fire started in January of 2008. The band united in a common interest of contributing to the metal scene and expanding their skills as musicians. The band consists of Teddy Mattson (Vocals, Guitar), Brent Jandreau (Bass), Tony Jalbert (Guitar), Adam Sousa a.k.a. Suzy (Guitar), and Andrew Jalbert (Drums). Tony, Andrew, and Brent began the project in Fort Kent, Maine nearly 4 years ago, after an extended break due to distance from each other, the three began playing again after a long anticipated move to the Portland area. Here they met up with Teddy Mattson who has added an outstanding vocal element along with the addition of his long time axe brother Adam Sousa to complete the troop. Quest for Fire does not intend to be the extreme of any type of genre, but hopes to connect with its audience through melodic, epic, and pounding phrases. Whether or not this is accomplished remains up to the listener. Stay tuned for more information, and remember: keep it heavy.
