Hi, thanks for taking some time out to stop by!! My name is John Batley and I am a husband, father, son, and brother. I grew up in a city called Rockhampton in Queensland, Australia. My wife Sam and I live in a small town called Gracemere with our two children, Hannah and Jack. Gracemere is not too far away from where I grew up. If you haven't visited Queensland before, you don't know what you are missing. It's a great place to live. I am currently working as an electrician, however making music has been a real passion of mine since I was very young. I play guitar and mandolin,sing, and write songs. I love reading the Bible, Spurgeon,Joyce Meyer, Benny Hinn, John Eldridge, and other great writers.Since music has been a big part of my life, I have listened to a lot of different styles and artists. I love Ray Charles, Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, and the list goes on and on. Petra, Keith Green, Larry Norman, Newsboys, Guardian, Whiteheart, MWSmith,SCChapman,Wes King, Phil Keaggy, and Out of the Grey have all been some of my favourite Christian artists. I am one of those health nuts who drink green tea, and have fish oil tablets twice a day. My favourite sports are Rugby League, Cricket, and AFL.
