About Me

Eric is a guitarist living in Austin TX. He specializes in jazz, latin, gospel, r'n'b and lounge, but enjoys having a go at many other styles. Currently Eric is gigging with Zesty Jazz chanteuse KatieO and Bolero-ist Leticia Rodriguez. In the past Eric has played guitar with Nicole Gilbert, Unity Church of Austin, Kit Holmes, Duane Carter, Mary Welch Y Los Curanderos, India Taylor, Fresh Oil Ministry and The Recliners.-------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------ -------------------------------------Opening in 2008 at the MACC in Austin, Eric is bandleader, music arranger, and guitarist for "Canciones for Generations" a one-act original production featuring Leticia Rodriguez. This is a second run of "Canciones" following up the successful run of 2007. In 2005 he was the guitarist for St Edward's production of "Cesar and Ruben" which featured the music of Buena Vista Social Club, Carlos Santana, Ruben Blades and Sting.------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------ ---------------------------------Eric's guitars are by Paul Reed Smith, Gibson, Fender, Alvarez, Ibanez, Guild, Epiphone, Silvertone, and La Patrie. Amps are Marshall, Fender and Roland. Microphones from AKG, BLUE, Shure, CAD, EV and Audio-Technica.
