About Me

Grace grew up in Wangi Wangi on Lake Macquarie surrounded with poetry and an array of musical instruments and genres, singing at every free breath she quickly caught on to music as a natural ability. After years of classical piano she toughened her fingers on guitar, chewing through covers and flooded with passion and influence she began to write her own material. Grace won the ABC Music Award for 'Folk, 'Best Young Talent' and the 'APRA Songwriting Recognition Award' in October 2007, this was an awesome achievement for Grace at age 17. Two years on she is studying at the Conservatorium of Music and continues to play in many local venues in Newcastle. She will be releasing a long awaited album later this year.
