Nur was born in Taiping, PerakMalaysia, the third of five children(the only girl) born to a Malaymother and a Pattani father. She is no stranger to malay musicindustry, she began her path in thisindustry when she was 17 years oldand was crowned as the winner forthe Golden Teen Search in 1999. As a determined singer, she hasgone through many trials andtribulations to keep her dreamalive. During these couple of years,she has pursued her studies inmusic at International College ofMusic and Ocean institute of AudioTechnology but she continues herbehind the-scenes work, performingand songwriting. As of today, Nurhas more than 50 songs publishedfor local famous singers like JaclynVictor, Dayang Nurfaizah,Vince,Dina, Mila AF, Misha Omar, Nikki,Sukiand Diddy. Recently, she has beenawarded as the Most PromisingYoung Composer at the MACPaward 2008. This ultimateachievement motivating her tocontribute more towards the growthof our music industry.
