We have 3 sons together and I also have a 10 yr. old daughter from a previous relationship. In Dec. '99, my life was changed forever. After growing up in a wishy-washy Christian home, I was finally brought to my knees and admitted that I needed Jesus Christ in my heart and life. After sturuggling with alcoholism and a bad gambling addiction, I had decided that enough was enough. I had ruined many relationships with friends, employers, coworkers and even the mother of my daughter. The only ones who still accepted me were my family and closest friends and even some of them were getting tired of my antics. Anyways, after I accepted Christ as my Lord and Savior, it was like a huge boulder had been taken off my chest. I say chest because I felt like I was being crushed beneath the weight of my iniquity (although I didn't know that's what it was). I finally felt true joy and peace and I didn't need a bottle of Bud or the blackjack table to provide it. I am so thankful for what God has brought me through and continues to bring me through to this day. Shalom!
