I'm originally from Ashtabula, OH, After my college days (CCAD and FIT), I started my career as a designer/art director. Right now, I work for a cosmetics company. I love my job... It's the perfect combination of design/pr/adv/mkg/writing/fashion for me. I'm married to the artist John W Carlson and work to promote him in my spare time... when I'm not in my garden, rearranging and building that is. You see I am totally into gardening, not as a method of relaxation (save that for the garden club ladies) but rather as a hands in the dirt, get real, exhaust yourself activity. During the winter I long for it and during the summer I let it devour me. I dig, I build arbors, I move trees, I rearrange, I stare and then I do it all again...I'm sure people think I'm nuts but I don't care :). When I'm all done and freshly showered NOTHING gives me more pleasure than sitting with my Husband in our garden enjoying all we've worked so hard on (yes, I make him help!!!). hee, hee.
