Alexis M. Coleman

Thanks for stopping by my page and listening to my music. Music has been my personal savior and passion from birth. I started playing acoustic guitar when I was 10 years old and have sung my whole life. I started singing in public at a young age while in my church choir. I started getting interested in songwriting when I was 13, but really became skilled at it when I got in my 20's.

I decided to record some of my songs when the opportunity came up to work with producer, musician, singer and songwriter (the list goes on) Brett Hestla (The Virgos/Dark new Day). Brett has been one of my biggest musical influences since I first heard his band The Virgos open up for Creed in early 2000. It was an honor to work with such a talent especially when I had never stepped foot into a recording studio or knew anything about recording in general.

I am very excited about putting my music out there for everyone to hear. I hope these songs touch people’s soul the way so many songs have done for me. If not, I hope people can at least enjoy themselves on some level. Music speaks on so many levels and these songs are truly coming from a raw place deep down.
