My Interests

Building Bridges between people, all people, especially those resistant to relations with "others", or who see eachother as not associated, i.e. Entertainment Industry (or just artist community in general) to the Church (where ever and whatever your temple may dwell, cause I walk in mine) or the Church with Cultural, Social and Political groups to address local; international; global issues: war, poverty, racism, corruption, injustices, seperation by assimialtiion, to move forward, progress, succeed, excell in Solidarity, united in Peace. I am for the Spirit of Adoption. Americans to Cuba, one day 3rd generationers con sangre de Mexico to Mexico, the people and the tierra, brown with black, (when we resist such relations we invite, foster and breed the connection, our lives and our struggles coincide we have all been affected by colonializm, let's decolinize our minds through action in our relations, Mexican, Latinos, stop dividing and conquering eachother, and learn to love eachother, even from a distace, respect eachothers space, co-exitance), Life, Music, Love, writing, dancing, art, designing, styling, representing, and promoting, praying, interseading, meditation, professing, declaring, professing, denouncing and casting out. Hip Hop, it's bigger than Hip Hop, Hip Hop def. saves my life! I am a very interested person, the more I learn the more my interest grows.

I'd like to meet:

Lost contacts, Family, friends, enemies, ha, ha, I'm always open for dialouge and healing. As difficult as it may be... Anyone interested in things I've learned about Cuba in Cuba,Greece (mostly Para-Olympics), Skid Row (I worked there for 4.5 years, I met the most amazing people there, so grateful to be a part of that community, their lives, learned so much, shared so much, and when I need to be around some real people, I go home to San Julian and 5th), East LA; my home town, Full Harvest International, CEMM, my experience with traveling to Cuba with the Venceremos Brigade, Cuban Hip Hop, The Cuban Hip Hop Symposium, South Central Farm, La Otra Campana, Danza Azteca, Academilla Semillas de Pueblo, Microphone Sessions, Kicks LA (ya, like Fly Kicks? 7559 Melrose Ave.). B-Boys, B-Girls, Emcee's, rappers, organizers, promoters, managers. Anyone who would like info. on Soc. Services Resources (I have lot's, Socialism live in a Capitalist Society), God (face to face), Nelson Mandela, The Deli Lama. "The People" inspired by my bio. page, any one with questions, invitations, open arms, ready to forgive (you might yet time, distance and space, in response, call it respect), move forward, deconstruct, build, reflect, share, writers, poets, artists, stylists, promoters, supporters, funders, uniters, activist, athiests, religious folks, the hurting, confused (I'll shut it down), those who hate life and those who love it, the have's and the have not's, etc. If you want to connect I appreciate if you write something, what interested you, questions, something about yourself, rather than just request, it's so impersonal otherwise, I value the human connection. If you post pornography on your page, I will not accept, love and respect to you, save the children, save yo self! Anyone from the Mexican Community interested in building with the Muslim community for Justice through Peace, let me know, I'm working on something...

Television:

Honestly, I don't watch much, I won't allow my self to get sucked into T.V. world, so when I watch, it will be random and maybe to catch a new show I heard about, or something. The Wayans were my therapy in college,Sat. Night Live, FAME, M*A*S*H (usually have to fight to watch it, others always objected), and The Twilight Zone (If I ever "had my own show". I like cartoons. My over all theory about T.V. is, don't sit around and watch others live out their dreams when you can be utilizing the time to pursue your own dreams.

Night by Elie Wiesel, Thunder of Silence by Joel S. Goldsmith, The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle, The Mastery of Love and The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz, I Kissed Dating Goodbye by Joshua Harris, anything by McKinney Hammond, anything by Clarence McClenndon, anything by Michael Eric Dyson. The Wretched of the Earth by Frantz Fanon, Our Word is Our Weapon Selected writings by Subcomondante Insurgente Marcos. My Utmost For His Highest by Oswald Chambers. Anything by Hiroshi Fukurai (so thankful for his work), anything by Craig Haney (amazing). Globalizatiom and Culture by Jan Nerveen Pieterse. Heroes:

People who see the light no matter how dark it is, people who are strong enough to forgive, love although they've been hurt, give out of their need, who know how to laugh at themselves (laugh at me, laugh with me, I love it). People who keep on moving despite the obstacles and distractions, people who recognize their priveledge, people who can co-exist with others who differ in beliefs and practices, people who give respect automatically (you never know what one has gone through, it's cruel for them to have to prove themselves to you by suffering further)people who give our creator his due glory.
