My dad was a professional photographer and no matter what we were doing, there was always a camera in hand. It was just a matter of time before I chased the dream!Sweet Dream Photos was opened in early 2007 (taking pictures long before that). I was editor and photographer for my college newspaper and also helped teach a photography class in college. I got married in 2002 and put my dreams on hold for a while. Shortly after getting married, we moved to the Oklahoma City area. My husband's family is here along with his business. I went to work in the legal field as a paralegal and always had this dream and passion in the back of my mind as a "one day". In 2005, my husband and I had twins and I decided to be a stay at home mom. I have done that for the last 2.5 years and love every minute of it.The great thing about about getting to stay at home and raise my children is I get to also follow my heart and my first love: Photography!I love being involved with my clients. I love watching their children grow right in front of my eyes! I love being with a family from the time they get engaged to the time they say "I do" and then comes the baby in the baby carriage. I believe in building long term relationships. I want my clients to think of me every time they need a photographer and know that I am going to capture exactly what they are looking for. I love to capture true personality in my shots. I don't believe in stiff and posed. I will snap pictures when your kids are playing and being themselves or giving you that "look" that only you know!
