Meet the Godtube Music Guy's Music!

About Me

The Kyle Steven Band started in 2003 at Biola University with founding members Brian Asbill, Jeff Bruce, Kapena Cavuto, Andrew Braine, and Kyle Steven. There is an "open door" policy of sorts with old members and they occasionally still do gigs with Kyle but today, the band is a mish-mosh of great players consisting of Kyle Steven, Danny Aanderrud, Greg Casford, Miko Espanol, Obie Obien, Adam Poit, Kerry Tamulis, and many others who fill in from time to time.Kyle is in the process right now of writing a new album, there will be lots of stuff coming out soon, so keep checking back as the new record could be just around the corner. Keep checking in for new videos and other material. I love you all PLEASE COME CHECK BACK!!

My Interests

Music:

Band Website: kylestevenmusic.com
Band Members: Kyle Steven (Guitar, Lead Vocals) Miko Espanol (Bass Guitar) Obie Obien (Lead Guitar) Kerry Tamulis (Rythm Guitar) Adam Poit (Keyboards Greg "Baby Huey" Casford (Drums & SICK reason tracks) Danny Aanderud (Percussion, drums, and BGV's)
Influences: Lyrically, our band is most influenced by the love of Jesus Christ that surpasses all human comprehension, reaching the very hearts of men. This marvelous Love enables us to live life in its most abundant form on earth, and eternally once our time on earth is done. If you listen to our songs and fail to see the thread of redemption, listen again because you missed it! As with any good rock band, our sound is greatly influenced by some of the greats: U2, Queen, Elton John, Coldplay, etc., but many of us have significant classical and jazz training that stretches us beyond the confines of what is commonly heard. We also have influences from some contemporary Christian groups like Jeremy Camp, Chris Tomlin, Phil Wickham, and The Kry. Our music seeks to be eclectic and inclusive of different genres that free us from the sort of boxes that influences can have.
Sounds Like: Clean acoustic soft rock... sometimes clean acoustic rock.
