About Me

VIDEO-CLIP TOUR 08Hey, I'm Tamara, the singer, and here's a little info about me and my music. I always loved singing, and writing songs, since as long as i can remember, but i wasn't quite sure it was for me, this wild world of music, with all its crazy stories... I prefered acting, when i was young, around 15 years old, i was going to acting school in Paris, and i was convinced i was gonna act later in my life; though my best friends were always asking me to sing for them. Until one summer in Greece, it stroke me and i realized it was really what i wanted to dedicate myself into. MUSIC. I had met a band there, "LMC", now "9miles", who was playing more like a Funky'Blues-Rock type of song, and they asked me to be their singer for a couple of years. So, i moved to Greece Kefalonia for 2 years, where i made my first start as a singer song-writer! It was of course an amazing experience and i learned a lot! But two years were enough, so i decided it was time to go...back to France. I came back to Paris, my hometown, and i met Pierre Emery (named "Suspens" at another time) from Ultra-Orange, remember "Ultra-Orange & Emmanuelle" (Seigner)?! Well, he took me under his protection, coz he liked my songs, and pushed me to learn to play guitar and compose entirely my own songs. I owe him. He recorded me for the first time in 2006, and thanks to that demo we made together, i got signed in a Major Record Company, EMI-Virgin "Delabel", at the beginning of the 2008 year, by Raphaël himself. Lucky girl! i know.... Anyway, today i am working on my first album, which i hope will come out soon in the year of 2009, and for that we might go and record in Los Angeles very very soon with a specific producer i have in mind, but this is a surprise. For now, i play with 3 musiciens, but only two when i'm on tour with Raphaël, cause it's an accoustic session, so it was better like that. But i hope i'll soon be able to play me too guitar on stage, with a piano player too. Anyway, the guitarist is Martin Bleck, and the violin player Raphaël Biancarelli. Spiros Metaxas the third guitarist and sound-ingenier, likes to stay low-profile. We're working on some awsome new songs lately! Can't wait to release them for you to hear and tell me what you think!Well, that's about it! Thank you for reading that far... Now i have to translate it in french! hahahahahbye, Tamara KaboutcheKI WON'T TELL YOUCHECK THIS VIDEO OUT? THIS IS WHEN ME & MARIE GOT OUR TATTOOS LAS SUMMER IN NEW-YORK
