Im a promotor, D'j and i produce music for local talent. I've held raves in west london which have been successful.
I started producing music when i started to talk. I always tried to imatate music with my mouth, in other words Beat Box. Music has always been around in my family, so i couldn't escape it. For the the music i've chosen to listen to i must give respect to my dad and my brother Gadget. They've always been a fan of R&B and Slow Jams and me being how i am i felt the same way. Don't get me wrong i'm into my Hip-Hop and other music but my specialty has always been R&B and Slow Jams. Growing up was a struggle for me along with my 7 brothers and 3 sisters, but that's how it is for most black people nowadays. To me the only way i could escape it was music. At about the age of 8 years old i used to Beat Box and record it on the stereo and let my brother Mc over it. It was just something to do in my spear time which kept me motivated. When i really started thinking about making music with computer music softwares was when i was 14 in high school. My first ever software was Cubase VST 2.4, which was so rubbish at the time but still done the trick. I actually showed myself how to use it really and the first couple tunes i made was ok but not that great. In my spear time i used to make music for local talent or Mc's all over, but none of my stuff got used comercially or anything. The next stage i moved up to was when i got hold of Reason 3.0 and this is when my music started sounding like proper music. At this stage because my music was good and had quite good qulity i also began to right lyrics as well. And this is how Could You Be My Lady & In My Car came about. Those songs was actually wrtitin by me in summer 2004 in Birmingham and at that time i didn't have anyone that could sing on it. By going through alot of brain storming i remembered my friend Aaron from high school could sing. I never knew for myself, but my cousin told me. About early 2005 i phoned him and asked him if he wanted to do the vocals for Could You Be My Lady, which was the song i wrote and produced. He happily excepted, so i recorded myself singing the song how i wanted it to be on the track and gave it to him to learn. Can you believe i gave him the song in 2005 and it got recorded in late 2006 and when we went to the studio he still didn't know the lyrics. LOL But when it was recorded it sounded big like my music was coming alive. It took so long for us to do our first tune, but now more and more keep coming, so its like i've found myself my first artist.Big shout out to Aaron (My Nigger For Life) Keep doing good.Holla At him on Myspace.
