Rev Arleen Crawford is a 2008 Stella Award nominee in the categories of Best Contemporary CD of the Year and Best Recorded Music Packaging of the Year.Arleen is a native of Thomasville, Georgia now residing in the Washington DC Surburbs. She is a graduate of Fayetteville State University (FSU) in Fayetteville, North Carolina where she obtained a B.A. in Music Education with a concentration in Voice. She is currently pursuing a Masters of Divinity.Arleen’s debut solo project, entitled “Songs of My Journey†is “Singsational†and features her original compositions that reflect her life’s journey. Her music displays the compassion she has for her calling and for God as well as showcases the gift of song entrusted to her by God.Rev. Crawford is an ordained minister in the AME Church in the 2nd Episcopal District and serves locally and nationally as workshop plenary speaker for retreats, conferences, revivals and Sunday morning worship services. Her prophetic preaching coupled with her anointed vocal abilities allows her the versatility to respond and appeal to multiple needs of the worship service.
