It all started when I was about the age of 5, I began piano lessons from my aunt and learned alot about reading music and rhythm . At the age of 9 , while being raised in a highly sheltered home , I would sneak an old guitar out and play with this instrument . Sounded pretty horrible but it was so interesting . When I was 10 or 11 I got new strings and a how to book and in few months I was jammin all kinds a music . At the time my p's disagree'd with the whole thing but I continued even tho we didnt have the money to persue it . Around when I was 13 or so I saved my lunch money for a while and went out to a yard sale and bought a lil radio for $5 bucks . Little did I know my whole world was about to change .There I was rushing thru lessons and homework so I could jus act like Im goin to bed so I could listen to the radio ! wow !!! I would stay up all night sometimes ! My eyes and body would be killing me cause I had not slept and been surfing channels .When I would get home some of the tunes like 'stairway to heaven ' and 'all along the watchtower' were permanently grafted in my brain as soon as I heard it , so I would jam all night on the guitar to finally in a couple days would be playin all my favorite songs , note for note .
Soon I found that I could sometimes pick up crazy channels by movin my hand made antenna and thats when it happened , for the first time I heard electronic music ,and it blew my mind . How did these guys make this awsome sound ? i wondered ...The beats were so fast and synths so all over the place (arpeggiated) .Soon after --I started goin to local record shops and had no clue what to get so I spoke with all kinds of different people on Idm and electronic music , started out with ORB ,Skinny Puppy and Kraftwerk . Going absolutely wild spending all I had in 1 sitting speeding home jus to mix and listen over and over again . At that time I began getting quite creative , I would use this old beat up 5 dollar mixer I got from a thrift co . to hook up 3 cd players , a tape player , 4 turntables and some lil toys that made sound & of course , my keyboard .
Thinkin at the time that I was makin some of the wildest music without realizing I wasnt even REALLY bein creative as I used to .
Began studying the art of turntablism , scratch techniques and beat matching . Upon purchasing my first REAL set of turntables I set off to play local venues for peanut's , literally . After 4 years of playing local bar's , birthday parties , small club's and underground raves, I was approached by a local artist/DJ at a rave at the annual "RISE" music conference . In exchange introduced me to what it is like to be signed to a record label and also owning your own record production label. It was not until a year later I was practicing at 1 of my local "hot-spots" when I was introduced to the person who would change the future of how I looked on music forever.
Wrong Design ! He introduced me to some of the earliest forms of production and editing . As far as digital software and physical stand-alone's go , anyone with knowledge knows that software was pretty weak and the devices themselves cost as much as an automobile . I began to self teach myself all the aspects' of what the digital realm could offer and what it was capable of. I started with underground mixtapes through record stores and venues , and made some waves thru the music community with our aggressive sounds and beats' . When the digital software 'wave' began I became deeply rooted into production and since then have followed every format & popular name brand software in the buisness to know exactly what the industry has to offer for physical on the fly use and also in-studio use as well . Stand alones have obviously been imbedded into our set's and will be from now on in regards to what we seek and what the fan's hunger for . As of now I have been hard at work for 5 long years now to continually find how to 'out-do myself' every track . Currently assisting Wrong Design in producing tracks for our personal record label , "Programmed Intelligence" , but also for 'Breaks Collective' created by Chris Domingo . We have plunged into some of the most influential electronica and drum-and-bass oriented music to blast out onto the air waves . Our full credibility has yet to be seen .....So we work ......And wait.........I now have 3 complete album's and 4 fully mixed live sets to appeal to any electronic music seeking fan . From hardcore breaks , progressive and trance to nuskool and drum-and-bass . You can hear me on XM & SIRIUS and have also had releases thru all the major mp3 sites . My true hopes are to have an impact on the whole world of music and continue to drop floor filling track's for the years to come .-----------------------------------------------------------
