BANDS!First off, let’s talk about what you get:
We're making 5000 copies in which each band on the compilation gets 100 Cd's for free to do as you wish. Sell them, give them to your friends or fans or even keep them! It doesn't matter to us at all. Suddenly, you have 20 bands across the country pushing a Cd with your band on it =)! Also, with the remaining 3000, Life to Live and Random Hero Records will be promoting the Cd in select Best Buys, Hot Topics and Indie Music stores, as well as shows, fests and any type of gathering we can get our feet in. Sounds great, right? I know what you're wondering...
What will this cost us?
First and foremost, each band only has to pay $350. That may sound a lot to some of you, but not only does it help us narrow out which bands are more serious about their music, but it also helps pay for production costs. Once the cd is done, and you have the 100 copies in your hand...if you sell them all for $5 a piece at your shows, basically giving them away, you make a $150 Profit!! How wonderful can that be? And now that you've made money on this compilation, think of how many Cd's nationally were sold with your music! Suddenly you have made money by promoting yourself!! Crazy eh?
The first 10 bands to confirm will have one full page in the cd booklet to display whatever you want. Full picture, bio, links to your site, etc etc..anything you want! But you have to hurry because we only have a few slots left as they're going fast.
