Saskia Lane

Saskia Lane lives in New York City, or at least that's where her mail is sent. This year has been one full of travel and adventure, just how she likes it. Saskia is a seeker of good people and good music, which is why she can be seen playing with Dan Zanes & Friends (www.danzanes.com) as well as her own sassy quartet The Lascivious Biddies (www.biddies4ever.com). The Biddies have just released their third album, Love You Mean It, so things are picking up speed heading into the 07/08 Season. Saskia has been playing bass most of her life, having trained classically for the first big chunk of it, but has spent the last five or so years exploring other genres. Falling in love with most styles that come her way, Saskia has her hands in jazz, rock, pop, folk, reggae, and hip-hop.
