Casey “The Great White†Reiter was born and raised in the Canarsie section of Brooklyn, New York. Being naturally gifted in basketball, baseball, and football at a young age and being highly successful at these sports throughout his teen years, Casey sought a new challenge. After graduating Edward R. Murrow High School in the summer of 2005, Casey then embarked on his college journey at SUNY Albany. With no prior fighting experience, Casey enrolled in an Albany Pit Fighting Tournament and compiled an 6-2 record with 4 knockouts. Going back and forth between Brooklyn and Upstate, Casey eventually had to leave the Albany area for personal reasons and came back to his stomping grounds of Brooklyn in the spring of 2006. This is when his father, Big Dave, brought him down to the Starrett City Boxing Club at the late age of 19. Casey quickly enjoyed the sport of boxing and embraced all of its elements. Casey then became a licensed amateur boxer and had his first amateur fight in the summer of 2007. Despite not having a trainer, lack of boxing experience, and being outweighed by more than 60 pounds, Casey carried the fight into the last seconds of the final round before it was stopped in his opponents favor. Nobody could underestimate the heart and courage he showed in the ring. Two days after the fight, Casey kept his head held high, his posture straight and tall. He walked back into the gym with bruises and cuts on his face and immediately began a new training regiment. He began an intense cardio/strength training program and sparred very frequently. His relentlessness and hunger is compared to the primal nature of a Great White Shark, hence the name, “The Great White.†Casey then assembled a team of professional trainers/former fighters. He is currently trained by the likes of Yoel Judah, Larry "The Panther" Jones, Demetrius “Oak Tree†Edwards, and Jimmy O’Pharrow. Casey is destined to become one of the most proficient fighters of his era and will not stop until he gets recognition. Whether its in the ring or in the streets, Casey laughs in the face of adversity. He demands the respect of his fellow opponents and his audience. If they fail to give it to him, then he must make them pay for it and let them know how much of a warrior he truly is!!!
