Katie's description of why her mom deserves this : My mother's name is Merrell Scott. My 22-month old son, Jonathan, was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive brain tumor in April of last year, and my mother immediately left her job to spend every day helping me care for him. After 13 months of surgeries, chemotherapy, and radiation, my husband and I made the difficult decision of stopping treatment on our son and putting him on hospice care. My mother has been with us during every step of this battle, and has even kept our 6-year old daughter at her house for the last year to allow us to focus on Jonathan's care. Please help me show my mother how much I love and appreciate her!
I'm one of those people that once I am your friend, I'll be your friend for life, UNLESS you screw me over or LIE to me! Then I become your worst enemy.I'm a very forward, down to Earth, upfront person. People either like me, or they don't.I also REFUSE to GROW UP!! I HATE GROWN UPS! THEY SUCK! If you can't have fun every day then you'll just grow old and wither and die. I don't wanna die, so I'm never growing up. It's that simple.I LOVE FISHING!! I go every chance I get. That takes up a big part of my life besides my grandson, who takes up another huge part. That's why I'm going to teach him to fish. So I can get all my parts together and cease with the split personality. LOLI'm a pretty good cook, like to bake, terrible housekeeper, love animals, have several. (and I've cut WAY BACK over the years on the number of animals) At present I have 2 dogs ), 1 cat, and 3 birds..I like hanging out with my kids. I had them when I was young so we are really good friends. Doing stuff with them is fun and can get kinda crazy at times. I would like to add a personal message for those that choose to judge me without knowing me. When the judgment day rolls around, how is it that YOU wish to be judged?Just think about it.
